In our business, the most important impact on the environment is CO2 emissions generated by the plastic material we use and the necessary energy consumption.
As part of this commitment, we have taken a long term view on the overall life cycle of our products and CO2 emissions reduction by:
- Decreasing plastic material consumption. We have saved over 38 Million kilograms of HDPE over the last 5 years through lightweighting. As less energy was needed, automatically the CO2 emissions were reduced.
- Packaging and transport optimization. We apply the same principle to our packaging. We have reduced the number of boxes used by over 5 million. The bulk containers that took their place are returned and reused dozens of times. We’ve taken nearly 1,000 deliveries by truck off the road and still delivered the same amount of closures
- Decreasing energy consumption through the use of the most innovative presses and injection molds
- Utilizing highly efficient, closed-loop water systems

Our ISO 14001 Certification helps ensure that Novembal facilities are focused on doing what is right for the environment and for our customers. In our commitment to sustainable use of water, all production processes utilize highly efficient, closed-loop water systems.
As part of WCM (World Class Manufacturing) practices, we can track Landfill Waste that will be used to create Waste Reduction Goals.
